The Other Side. (IFFK, Day 8)

It was the last day. A bit of sadness has taken a place in my heart. As usual I reported at the Terrace Hotel.  As most of the guests have checked out, last day was fairly jobless. By the time, we managed to build a good relationship with the people at the hotel. We talked for a bit about various topics.

Actress Anu Mol was one of our guests. She was planning to leave that day. The last job of the day and IFFK was to drop her at the Airport. I accompanied with our guest to the airport. We had a healthy talk about CAA on the car. Her views helped me to get a proper shape of the idea of CAA.

I never got the chance to enjoy the dance program of Rima Kallingal on the closing ceremony. Our coordinator told us to report at Nishagandhi at 6pm. I was expecting a party. But nothing was there. They gave us our food parcel. It was really appaling. But you know something, it’s just matter of seconds your day will make a positive turn. As usual, my friends came to the rescue. We got out of Nishagandhi. I, Goutham, Vaishak, Amal, and Devi went to ‘Sreekandeshwaram’ to have some ‘pineapple sarbath’.

After enjoying the sarbath, I dropped Devi back home and enjoyed the heck out of the return solo ride. I was smiling the whole way back. My Heart was filled with joy. I was flying around. I was singing. My motorcycle performed like anything. I enjoyed every single second of that ride.

There are two types of questions, the ones which make us tensed, like the ones we get on exams. And the other category will make us happy. My answer for a question like the second category was simple. I enjoyed the whole thing.

Peppa.

May 29th of 2020 marked the 60th bday of my dearest peppa, Dr T Neelakantan. The pillar of our family. The word (Peppa is the shortform of Periyappa, father's elder brother) I know, these penny amount of words won't be just enough to communicate my happiness and respect towards him. Though a humble attempt to do so. My love for motorcycles and vehicles in general, came from my father. But, my interest in photography and cameras came from Peppa.  Peppa, A teacher by profession, now enjoying his retired life and recently took a promotion as grand father. A Professional Photography Hobbyist, Nikon lover, an expert in almost every genre of photography, music lover (especially vintage songs), a tech enthusiast and a fully equipped tech adviser, a huge nature lover, a person with a big heart, and mainly, the backbone of our family.  Peppa and his photos play a major part in my life. Sometimes I wonder, What would have happened if he never gifted me that Canon Po...
